Schools out for the summer! college kids moving
College moves can be a little hectic for all involved. The last thing on your mind is getting up early to move out of your apartment, dorm, house, etc at the end of the school year. Often times the majority of the school is on the same move in/move out schedule, so the city can be a mess.
So my tip to you: plan ahead and get ready before the morning of! Make sure you are boxed up, and if you have roommates, make sure your items are labeled, grouped, separated or easily distinguished so your roomies don’t have their items taken by mistake.
Other things to remember for your move.
Have your keys for the new apartment/house
If your parents are helping you out by paying for the move, make sure to have their payment info (check, credit card number, cash, etc)
Let the mover know if there are any parking restrictions and/or truck access issues if moving downtown (alleyway apartment, small driveway, overhanging trees, apartment on busy road/intersection, etc)
